Forthcoming Events
Below is a list of forthcoming events to be held at Asti Equestrian. Unless otherwise stated these events are organised by Asti Equestrian and are open to Asti clients and other riders. Everyone is welcome with their own horse or use one of ours. Beginners and experienced riders are catered for in all activities. Events must be paid for when booking. Every Thursday
SHOW JUMPING CLINIC - Run at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm for all ages and abilities.
Sunday 14th February
BIG HEART DAY - Buy one private lesson and get a friend to join you for free. Only available on this day.
Tuesday 16th February
PONY CLUB BRANCH/CENTRE WORKING RALLY. For all ages and abilities, may include jumping remember your body protectors. Rally times 9.30am onwards dependant on numbers. £5.00. If on lead rein parents or guardian must remain present to lead.
Centre Members (special offer for February Rally only) may use a yard pony free of charge, but please remember you will need to arrive early to catch and prepare your pony before the session and tack will need to be cleaned afterwards. You will need a guardian/parent present to help if necessary before, during and after the session.
Achievement Badge – 10.30 Security Awareness. (Information available on website or in tuition office). £5. Free to those on rally.
Wednesday 17th February
Dressage to Music – 10.30am-12 noon. Learn your test and practise. 1.00pm Competition. You can do just the morning or just the competition. Bring your lunch £20.
Friday 19th February
ME ENCARTA UNO POTRO ESTE MANANA- 10.00am-1.00pm. Show the ponies at the yard how much you love them after Valentines on this Share-A-Pony Morning. The morning will include learning how to look after a pony, riding, plus lots more. £40
Friday 19th February
THE ASTI WINTER CHALLENGE. Start Clear Round 5.00pm. For all ages and abilities. Class 1 Double Clear Round. Class 2. The Asti Challenge. Class 3 Top Score Jumping. Compete once a month to collect points in Class 2 over the winter to win the Asti Challenge Winter Cup and voucher. Final qualifying date and presentation evening March 20th 2010. These shows are open to everyone. Costs as Friday 28th November. Championship Show 20th March, (schedule as Jan & Dec).
Saturday 20th February
COMBINED TRAINING AND CLEAR ROUND JUMPING – 2pm onwards. Dressage and/or Show Jumping. Schedules available on line or tuition office. All Welcome. Lots of prizes and rosettes to everyone. Dressage Only £5.50, Dressage + Jumping £8.00 per class. A small charge of £5 will be required for those clients wishing to book Asti horses. (Dressage tests will be the walk & trot on/off lead, and Prelim 14).
Saturday 20th March
THE ASTI WINTER CHALLENGE CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW - From 1.00pm.
For all ages and abilities. Clear Round at 1.00pm. Class 1 Double Clear Round, Class 2 The Asti Challenge, Class 3 Top Score Jumping. At the end of the Challenge the competitor with the most points from Class 2 wins the Asti Winter Challenge Cup and £20.00 Gift Voucher to be redeemed in our saddlery shop. These shows are open to everyone, and Asti ponies/horses are available to use at a small charge of £5.00. Cost per class £6.50.

ASTI EQUESTRIAN FUN SUMMER CAMP is open to everyone. Fun activities suitable for children of all ages and abilities, which will include stable management, riding and lots more. Asti horses/ponies are available to book for the duration of the camp. Grass or stabled livery available for you to bring your own ponies/horses. Places and horses/ponies limited so book early to avoid disappointment – first come, first served
Monday 23rd - Wednesday 25th August incl.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
MADE TO MEASURE DAYS - We can provide made to measure days on request during the holiday all we need is 4 or more people adult or child.
PARTIES - For those looking for a party with a difference we can offer horsey parties here at Asti - bring your own food and we'll organise tables, chairs, and horse riding activities for the party group.
OFF ROAD HACKING - We can also offer hacking over local farm land for small groups.
MINI CROSS COUNTRY/SHOW JUMPING/DRESSAGE RALLY - We would be happy to organise mini-cross country jumping/show jumping/dressage rally if enough people are interested. If you would like us to arrange this please speak to your instructor.
TRAINING - We can also provide training for Pony Club exams/Brownie or Guide Exams as required.
HACKING - We can also offer hacking in small group rides over nearby farmland throughout the summer. Ask for details.
